  1. When are summer and winter tax bills due?
    Summer tax bills, which are mailed on July 1st of each year, are due by September 14th of the same year. Winter bills, which are mailed out on December 1st, are due by February 14th the following year.
  2. Where can I pay my tax bills?
    Tax bills can be mailed in or paid directly at the Treasurer's Office at the Township Hall. General inquiries can be made by calling (734) 822-3140.
  3. Through what dates can I purchase a dog license at the Township Treasurer's Office?
    Dog licenses can be purchased at The Township Treasurer's Office from December 1st until February 28th. After these dates they can be purchased at the Washtenaw County Treasurer's Office. The cost for a license for a male or female dog is $10.00. Licenses for spayed or neutered dogs are $5.00. Licenses for leader dogs are free of charge.
  4. What other functions does the Treasurer's Office serve?
    In addition to being responsible for the collection and distribution of taxes, the Treasurer's Office also invests the Township's funds to receive the best return of interest possible in State approved portfolios. Monthly and annual Treasurer's reports as well as State of Michigan reports and property tax rolls for the Washtenaw County Treasurer are also produced in this office. In addition, all purchasing functions for the Township offices and the collection of all fees made to the Township are the responsibility of the Treasurer's Office.
