Planning Commission Meetings
Planning Commission meetings are generally on the first and third Thursday of the month at 7:30 p.m., unless noted otherwise in the current schedule at right.
Public Hearings (Rezonings, Conditional/Controlled Use Permits, and proposed Zoning Ordinance revisions)
Public Hearings shall be heard on each of the above items to solicit public comment. After a Public Hearing has been closed on a petition, action will be taken at that meeting or a subsequent meeting. When the Planning Commission has reached a decision regarding a recommendation on a rezoning and/or ordinances, the petition will be forwarded to the Board of Trustees for the final decision. The Board of Trustees is the only body that can amend the Zoning Ordinance.
Site Plans (Construction of Project/Proposal)
Site plans submitted to the Planning Commission will be discussed after all the required information has been received and reviewed by staff. You may check with the Planning Department at 822-3130 for information as to when a specific proposal will next be considered.
