Pittsfield Charter Twp, Michigan

The Major Case Team (MCT) of LAWNET is a multi-agency team currently comprised of the Michigan State Police, Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office, Pittsfield Township Department of Public Safety, and the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives. This team investigates violent, Class 1 crimes and the criminal activity pursuant to the steady influx of illegal weapons in the LAWNET area of responsibility. The Major Case Team directs its investigative efforts in such a manner as to maximize the effectiveness of federal, state, county, and township law enforcement resources. The Major Case Team works extensively with other agencies.

The MCT is dedicated to providing investigative support to the community in an unobtrusive yet highly professional manner.
